emergency lights not working
1994 Mazda B4000 indicator lamp emergency brake does not work?

My truck recently failed an inspection because VA brake indicator light Emergency does not work when the ebrake is engaged, nor the light appears when starting the truck. You can not afford to go to a mechanic who specializes in this, so I wondered where to begin trying to solve this. Could be just a bad bulb and I have to get the board to replace it? Or not going to reach that conclusion before trying other things first? Thank you.

It could simply be a light bulb, and I do have to remove the dash to get it, too you can try looking for the switch is depressed when you lift or set the brake, that's what makes the light come, check the switch and wiring that goes from it to see whether there may be a short
